Beyond world-class sporting standards, Crystal Sports G places strong emphasis on environmentally conscious design, integrating energy efficiency and responsible resource management to ensure long-term sustainability.
1. Rainwater Harvesting System

The project incorporates a rainwater harvesting system that collects rainwater from rooftops through gutters and piping into storage tanks. This water is reused for landscape irrigation throughout the development, reducing reliance on municipal water supply and promoting efficient, responsible water management.
2. High-Performance Infrared-Reflective Glazing

The selected glazing system effectively reduces heat transfer from the exterior into interior spaces, significantly lowering energy consumption from air-conditioning systems. In addition, it filters UV radiation, reduces glare, and enhances privacy while still allowing ample natural daylight to enter the building.
This approach clearly reflects a simple yet powerful design philosophy:

“Light is welcome — heat is not.”
3. High-Volume Roof Structure and Passive Cooling Design

The high and open roof structure enhances natural air circulation and minimizes heat accumulation within the sports facilities, creating a comfortable environment without excessive energy use. Passive cooling strategies are further reinforced through perimeter sun-shading elements around the courts, reducing direct solar heat gain.
4. Thoughtfully Designed Green Landscape

The surrounding green spaces are intentionally designed using plant species known for their air-purifying properties, increasing oxygen levels and providing natural shading. As the building is oriented toward the west, tree placement has been carefully planned to cast shade during peak sun hours, reducing heat gain, improving airflow, and creating a fresh, nature-integrated atmosphere.
5. Use of Eco-Friendly Materials from Agglotech,
Italy
Tables and seating throughout the project are crafted from terrazzo supplied by Agglotech, Italy. This environmentally friendly surface material is made from natural marble and recycled marble aggregates, without the use of synthetic components. Renowned for its durability and long lifespan, the material meets recognized European standards and reflects a commitment to sustainability combined with refined architectural aesthetics.
